Cordelia, King Lear's youngest daughter

This repository is named for Cordelia, the youngest and favorite daughter of the title character in Shakespeare's King Lear. Lear asks his three daughters to declare publicly how much they love him, in exchange for a share of the kingdom. Cordelia refuses to flatter him, saying only that she loves him "according to my bond, no more nor less". For that she is disowned and banished, while her sisters Goneril and Regan win their shares with empty praise.
