Feste, Olivia's fool in Twelfth Night

This repository is named for Feste, Olivia's "allowed fool" in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. He is a hired jester, licensed to say what everyone else can't. He moves freely between Olivia's household and Duke Orsino's court, singing songs and offering wry commentary on the folly of both. He also orchestrates the play's cruelest prank, disguising himself as the priest "Sir Topas" to torment the imprisoned Malvolio. He closes the play alone on stage with a melancholy song, once every romantic plot has resolved around him.
