Venhola Consulting Inc

Venhola Consulting Inc (VCI) was incorporated in British Columbia, Canada, in 2021. VCI has contracted to Fraser Health, Vancouver Coastal Health, Hardlink Consulting Corp, and TransLink, delivering IT program and project management services.

VCI is now branching out into building desktop applications, transitioning away from on-site consulting services.

The Principal Consultant

• Learned to program in high school using punch cards in the late 1970s.
• Graduated from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, in the 1980s with a degree in Mathematics.
• Moved to Singapore in 1990 to work in IT project management.
• Returned to Canada in 1994, working first in Ontario and then in BC.
• Industries and sectors: remote sensing, bulk material handling, aviation, K-12 education data management, mining, health care, and now public transit.

A few more details:

• Worked full-time, and for several years part-time, as a computer science instructor.
• Holds a number of IT professional certifications, including Project Management Professional, Scrum Master, Lean/Six Sigma, Scaled Agile, ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Certified Adult Education (TAE4104), ISO9001, and ISO27001.
• An expert C++ programmer, having kept up his skills from his first C project in 1984 all the way to the present.
